Detach coolant inlet fitting (6) on coolant pump (1)

 Installation: Replace seal.

 Bolt, coolant suction nozzle to coolant pump/timing case cover

Detach guide pulley (7) from coolant pump (1)

When replacing the coolant pump(1).

 Screw/bolt, guide pulley to coolant pump

Remove coolant pump (1) from timing case cover

Remove coolant pump cover (1a) from coolant pump (1)

 Installation: Install new seal (8). Replace coolant pump cover (1a).

Clean

Clean sealing surfaces on coolant pump (1) and timing case cover

Install in the reverse order

Check engine cooling system for leak tightness

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
