2 | Remove intake manifold | ||
3 | Release and disconnect electrical connection on coolant thermostat heating element (R48) | ||
4 | Detach coolant hose at coolant thermostat heating element (R48) | ||
5 | Detach coolant line (3) of oil cooler on coolant thermostat housing (1) | Installation: Replace seal. | |
6 | Detach coolant thermostat housing (1) on timing case cover and cylinder heads | | |
Installation: Replace O-ring. | |||
Bolt, thermostat to coolant pump/timing case cover | |||
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||

8 | Check engine cooling system for leaktightness | ||
