1 | Drain coolant at radiator | ||
2 | Drain coolant from coolant pump | ||
3 | Remove upper engine cover | ||
4 | Remove left and right engine air intake duct upstream of air filter | ||
5 | Release and disconnect electrical connection (2) | ||
6 | Detach coolant hose (3) on coolant thermostat housing (1) | ||
7 | Detach charge air cooler and pull to the front with attached coolant hoses | ||
8 | Remove oil filter element and close off opening to the timing case cover with protective covers | ||

9 | Detach coolant line (4) at coolant thermostat housing (1) | Bolt for coolant line attachment | |
10 | Release and disconnect electrical connection on throttle valve actuator | ||
11 | Detach coolant thermostat housing (1) on timing case cover and cylinder heads | | |
Installation: Replace O-ring. | |||
Bolt, thermostat to coolant pump/timing case cover | |||
12 | Install in the reverse order | ||

13 | Check engine cooling system for leaktightness | ||
