 Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove

Remove cap from expansion reservoir.

Remove lower center and front engine compartment lining.

Drain off

Slide drain hose onto drain fitting (2).

Loosen drain screw (3) and catch escaping coolant in suitable container.

Tighten drain screw (3) and remove drain hose.

Remove coolant hose (1) from cooler and catch escaping coolant in a suitable container.
