In this connection, attach connector socket (4) of front illuminated Mercedes star (1) to plug (3) of electrical wiring harness (2).

Install in the reverse sequence.

Document retrofitted equipment through Vehicle Documentation (VeDoc).

Attach note "Illuminated Mercedes star retrofitted as per AZ88.40-S-0010E" under field organization texts to KG54 and KG88.

Check

Perform function check of illuminated Mercedes star (1).

To do this, turn ignition key to position 2.
