Remove stampings (arrows) from radiator grille (1).
Completely remove stampings (arrows) with a suitable tool.

Remove stampings (arrows) from detachable part (4) of illuminated Mercedes star (2).
Completely remove stampings (arrows) carefully with a suitable tool. Otherwise, trim element (3) of the illuminated Mercedes star (2) can be damaged.

Install illuminated Mercedes star (2) into radiator grille (1).
To do this, route connector socket (5) through installation opening of radiator grille (1) from outside to inside and carefully clip illuminated Mercedes star (2) into place. The connector socket (5) of illuminated Mercedes star (2) is only attached to the plug of the electrical wiring harness during the installation of the radiator grille (1).
