1 | Remove retaining clips (7) and remove cover (8) | Installation: Check retaining clips (7) for damage. | |
If retaining clips (7) are damaged | |||

Replace retaining clip (7) | |||
2 | Open quick-release coupling (3), disengage catch hooks (arrows A) and remove left and right support (2) | ||
3 | Unscrew bolts (4) at top from bumper (5) | Model 447.8, 448.8 | |
4 | Slightly pull bumper (5) in upper area toward front until catch hooks (arrows C) are accessible | ||
5 | Move long wedge into gap (arrow B) from outside between air guide segment (6) and bumper (5) and unlock catch hook (arrows C) on radiator grille (1) | Long wedge | |
6 | Unlock catch hooks (arrows D) with suitable tool | ||
