Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Drain coolant for high-voltage battery cooling system.

Remove voltage of high-voltage on-board electrical system.

Store transmitter key outside the transmitter range (at least 2 m).

Remove coolant expansion reservoir for electric motor cooling system.

Remove holder (9) of coolant expansion reservoir.

 To do so, remove nuts (10).

Release and disconnect high-voltage plug (2).

Cover electrical connections with suitable protective covers.

Remove nut (4) and remove equipotential bonding line.

Remove coolant hoses (5).

 Collect escaping coolant. Plug openings. Clamps are vulcanized onto coolant hoses (5).

 Installation: Note assignment of coolant hoses (5).

Remove nuts (6) from holder (7).

 Nut, heater holder to holder

Remove screw (11) .

Remove heater (1) with holder (7).

Remove heater (1) from holder (7).

If heater (1) is replaced.

 To do so, remove screws (8).

Install in the reverse order.

Perform commissioning of heater (1) with vehicle diagnosis system.

If heater (1) was replaced.



Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
