 Warning

Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.

When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).

Remove/install

Remove windshield wiper arms.

Unscrew screw (4).

Remove holder (5).

Release air filter housing (6) and remove from working area.

Unclip electrical wiring harness (8) (arrow A).

Unscrew nuts (2).

 Nut, windshield wiper bearing to body

Remove windshield wiper system (1) until the electrical connector (7) is accessible.

 Installation: Observe correct position of sealing washers (3).

Disconnect electrical connector (7) and remove windshield wiper system (1).

Install in the reverse order.
