 	Remove/install
1	Disconnect the electrical connectors from the hot film mass air flow sensor (3) and the intake manifold pressure sensor.
2	Remove air intake pipe from hot film mass air flow sensor (3).	 To do so, release the clamp on the hot film mass air flow sensor (3).
		 Installation: Check clamp for damage.
		 Clamp, air intake pipe to hot film mass air flow sensor	*BA09.10-N-1002-01TS
		Depending on the findings,
		
		Replace damaged clamp.
3	Remove the filler pipe (5) from the air filter housing (1).
4	Remove jump-start connection point (6) from air filter housing (1).
5	Remove air filter housing (1) at the rear upward from the bracket (2).	 Carefully remove air filter housing (1) from the bracket (2). This prevents damage to front mounts (4).
		 Installation: Check rubber mounts in the bracket (2).
		Depending on the findings,
		
		Replace rubber mounts.
6	Remove air filter housing(1).	 To do this remove air filter housing (1) backwards from front mounts (4).
		 Installation: Make sure air filter housing (1) is seated correctly in front mounts (4).
7	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
 Warning	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8	Check for leaktightness when engine is running.	 Visual inspection only.
