Remove/install

Remove bottom door trim on left or right sliding door (2).

Remove cable (4) from upper rotary tumbler (3) of the left or right sliding door (2).

Attach a suitable pulling-in aid at the upper end (arrow A) of the cable (4).

This is to facilitate installation, as the upper rotary tumbler electric motor (1) must be removed with the cable (4) installed.

Disconnect electrical connector (5).

Unclip retaining clip (6) from sliding door (2).

Unclip sliding door control unit (7) from bracket (8) at catch hooks (arrows B) and place to one side with electric lines connected.

Remove screws/bolts (9).

Turn bracket (8) with detachable parts attached until screws (10) are accessible.

Unscrew bolts (10).

Remove upper rotary tumbler electric motor (1) from bracket (8) and remove from sliding door together with the installed cable (4).

Remove pulling-in aid from cable (4).

Install in the reverse order.
