Remove/install

Remove bottom door trim on the right and left sliding door (1).

Model 907.6/7 except code V4A (right load compartment sliding door full trim)

Move sliding door (1) into a half open position.

Unclip cover (2).

 Replace damaged retaining clips on the cover (2).

Unclip end piece (17) from center guide rail (6).

Remove tensioning screw (3) and take rear tensioner (4) with the drive belt (5) out of the center guide rail (6).

Unhook front tensioner (7) together with the drive belt (5) toward the front out of the center guide rail (6).

Mark installation position of the bracket (8) on the sliding door (1).

Attach lifting device (9) to the sliding door (1).



Carefully handle lifting device (9).
Otherwise, damage to the paint will occur.

Remove screws (10) from bracket (8).

 Installation: Align bracket (8) according to marks.

 Bolt, holder for carriage at bottom to sliding door

Disconnect electrical connection (13).

Open cover of the coupling (11).

Unclip clutch lower part (11.2) from clutch upper part (11.1) and unhook door catch cable (12) from clutch lower part (11.2).

 Installation: The door catch cable (12) must be hooked unstressed in the clutch lower part (11.2).
Check function of the door catch cable (12) when the cover of the coupling (11) is closed.

Pull door catch cable (12) downward out of the sliding door (1).


Carefully pull door catch cable (12) out of the sliding door (1).
Otherwise clattering noises may occur due to damaged foam rings on the door catch cable (12).

Pull electrical wiring harness (14) downward out of the sliding door (1).

Mark installation position of the top carriage (15) on the sliding door (1).

Remove screws (16) from top carriage (15).

 Installation: Align top carriage (15) according to marks.

Push sliding door (1), using the lifting device (9), toward the rear out of the center guide rail (6).


Ensure that the rear tensioner (4) and front tensioner (7) are not hanging on the drive belt (5) in an uncontrolled manner.
Otherwise, the drive belt (5) may be damaged or damage may to the paint may occur.

Install in the reverse order.

Adjust

Adjust sliding door (1).
