Remove/install

Remove bottom door trim of right and left sliding door (1).

Model 907.6/7 with code EL9 (2-way speaker system, front and rear) or with code FY2 (double lock) or with code T50 (right sliding door electrical closing assist) or with code T51 (left sliding door electrical closing assist), model 910.6 with code FY2 (double lock)

Model 907.6/7 except code V4A (right load compartment sliding door full trim), model 910.6

Move sliding door (1) into a half open position.

Unclip cover (2).

 Replace damaged retaining clips on the cover (2).

Unclip end piece (3) from the guide rail center (4).

Mark installation position of the bracket (5) on the sliding door (1).

Attach lifting device (6) to the sliding door (1).



Carefully handle lifting device (6).
Otherwise, damage to the paint will occur.

Remove screws (7) from bracket (5).

 Installation: Align bracket (5) according to marks.

 Bolt, holder for carriage at bottom to sliding door

Disconnect electrical connector (8).

Model 907.6/7 with code EL9 (2-way speaker system, front and rear) or with code FY2 (double lock) or with code T50 (right sliding door electrical closing assist) or with code T51 (left sliding door electrical closing assist), model 910.6 with code FY2 (double lock)

Open cover of the coupling (9).

Unclip clutch lower part (9.1) from clutch upper part (9.2) and unhook door catch cable (10) from clutch upper part (9.2).

 Installation: The door catch cable (10) must be hooked unstressed in the clutch lower part (9.1).
Check function of the door catch cable (10) when the cover of the coupling (9) is closed.

Pull door catch cable (10) downward out of the sliding door (1).


Carefully pull door catch cable (10) out of the sliding door (1).
Otherwise, the foam rings on the door catch cable (10) for protecting against clattering will be damaged.

Pull electrical wiring harness (11) downward out of the sliding door (1).

Mark installation position of the top carriage (12) on the sliding door (1).

Remove screws (13) from top carriage (12).

 Installation: Align top carriage (12) according to marks.

 Bolt, carriage at top to sliding door

Push sliding door (1), using the lifting device (6), toward the rear out of the center guide rail (4).

Install in the reverse order.

Adjust

Adjust sliding door (1).
