Remove/install

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

 Installation: Clean sealing surface and coat with sealing compound.

 Installation: Replace circlip.

Pull out connecting flange (33b)

 Installation: Check contact surface for the radial sealing ring on the connecting flange, in the event of severe galling: 

Replace connecting flange

 For vehicles with ASD, an axial play adjustment is not necessary.



Repair ring cylinder

 Replace radial seal and smear sealing lip with universal hypoid gear oil:

Universal hypoid gear oils (SAE 85 W-90)

Replace O-rings and coat with hydraulic fluid.
