Remove

Remove transmission.

Fasten transmission onto assembly stand.

Disassemble

Remove central clutch release bearing.

Remove shift tower.

Remove radial shaft sealing ring at drive end.

Remove radial shaft sealing rings from axle shafts.

Disassemble transmission housing.

Clean

8

Clean transmission housing front section, transmission housing rear section and main components of transmission.

 When doing so, also clean sealing surfaces of transmission housing front section and transmission housing rear section.

Assembly cleaner

Check

9

Check transmission housing front section, transmission housing rear section and main components of transmission for wear and damage.

If wear or damage is present



Replace damaged or worn parts.



Assemble

Install radial shaft sealing ring at drive end.

Install radial shaft sealing ring of axle shafts.

Assemble transmission housing.

Install shift tower.

 Shift through gears to check.

If it is not possible to shift through the gears,

perform suitable repair measures.

Detach transmission from assembly stand.
