Remove

Remove left front axle shaft (2).

Release engine stabilizer mount from axle drive module.

Support axle drive module and secure on mounting plate.



 When securing axle drive module, ensure that retaining belt is routed above axle drive module and below power electronics.

Remove left engine mount.

Lower axle drive module.


Do not lower axle drive module too far.
Coolant hoses and/or coolant connections in front area of axle drive module can otherwise be damaged.

Unclip bracket (8) of coolant pump (9) at catch hook (7) and place to the top at one side.

Remove screw/bolts (3).

Remove screws/bolts (4).

 Screw, mounting support to axle drive module frame

Unscrew screws (5) and remove mounting support (1) from tubular frame (6) and from axle drive unit.

Check

Check elastomer bearings of mounting support (1) for damage.

If damage is detected,



replace elastomer bearing.

Install

Position mounting support (1) on tubular frame (6) and slightly tighten screws (4) by hand.

Lift axle drive unit and tubular frame (6).

Install left engine mount.

Lower axle drive module.


Do not lower axle drive module too far.
Coolant hoses and/or coolant connections in front area of axle drive module can otherwise be damaged.

 Lower axle drive module until screws (5) can be attached to axle drive module.

Lightly tighten screws (5) by hand.

Tighten screws(4).

Release mounting plate from axle drive module and remove major assembly mount.

Insert bracket (8) of coolant pump (9) in lower area and clip into catch hook (7).

Attach engine stabilizer mount to axle drive module.
