Remove

Remove respective mounting support (2) for axle drive module.

Remove/install mounting support at right for axle drive module

Remove/install mounting support at left for axle drive module

Press elastomer bearing (1) out of mounting support (2) using a workshop press (3) and suitable press-in/press-out tool (4).

Install

Attach new elastomer bearing (1) to mounting support (2).


Take into account installation position of elastomer bearing (1).
In the installed status, the elastomer bearing (1) contact surface (arrow A) must point towards axle drive module.
It will otherwise not be possible to attach elastomer bearing (1) to axle drive module.

Press new elastomer bearing (1) into mounting support (2) so that flush using a workshop press (3) and suitable press-in/press-out tool (4).

Install mounting support (2) for axle drive module.
