Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove/install

Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.

Remove air filter housing.

Remove low-temperature circuit coolant pump.

Remove low-temperature circuit valve

Remove air ducting (10).

Disconnect electrical connection (2).

Remove coolant hose (3) from fan unit (1) (arrow C).

Remove coolant hoses (4) from the cooler unit.

Remove bleed lines (5) from the cooler unit.

Remove bleed lines (5) from air duct segment (6) (arrow D).

One after the other, push back shackles (7) on fan unit (1) and remove air duct segment (6).

Slide the fan unit (1) in the direction of the arrow (E) out of the guides (arrow B) and the shackles (arrow A).


Carefully work the fan unit (1) loose.
Otherwise, the lamellas of the cooler may be damaged.

Remove fan unit (1) from the cooler unit and take out upwards.

 Installation: Observe guides (arrows B) and shackles (arrows A).
The shackles (arrows A) must engage.

Remove holder (8).

If a new fan unit (1) is installed.

Unclip and remove holder (9).

If a new fan unit (1) is installed.

Install in the reverse order.
