Warning

Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.

Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove cap (1) of coolant filler neck

Model 470 with engine 200

Only unscrew the cap (1) of the coolant filler neck counter-clockwise to the first notch and release the excess pressure. Then remove the cap (1).

Remove the corresponding cap (1) of the coolant expansion tank or the coolant filler neck

Model 470, 471 with engine 699

Only unscrew the cap (1) of the expansion tank counter-clockwise to the first notch and vent the excess pressure. Then remove the cap (1).

Check the corresponding cap (1) for corrosion and damage

Depending on findings

Replace the corresponding cap (1).

Mount adapter (2) to pressure pump (3)
