Danger! | Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant. | Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection. | |

1 | Open engine hood | ||
2 | Remove battery | ||
3 | Unclip retaining clip (2) and remove air intake pipe (3) | ||
4 | Disconnect radiator coolant hose (4) at expansion reservoir (1) and remove | Drain any exuded coolant and collect with a suitable vessel | |
5 | Remove bolt (5) from upper bracket of expansion reservoir (1) | ||
6 | Undo bolt (6) from charge air pipe (7) | ||
7 | Remove intercooler | ||
8 | Remove bolt (8) from lower bracket of expansion reservoir (1) | ||
9 | Unhinge expansion reservoir (1) to the left from the radiator brackets and remove from the bottom | ||
10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
11 | Pour in coolant |
