6 | Detach charge air hose (11) at turbocharger | ||
7 | Detach charge air hose (4) at air intake pipe | ||
8 | Detach air intake pipe at the body | ||
9 | Detach coolant hose (8) at radiator, coolant hose (9) at coolant expansion tank and coolant hose (10) at connection of coolant pump | Collect coolant which flows out Installation: Check condition of hose clamps, replace if necessary. | |
10 | Unplug plug at coolant level sensor (7) | ||
11 | Extract steering gear oil from reservoir of power steering pump with hand pump (13) | | |
12 | Detach hydraulic oil hose (6) at reservoir of power steering pump | ||
13 | Detach hydraulic oil hose (5) at hydraulic oil line | ||
14 | Detach coolant hose (22) at bottom right of radiator | Collect coolant which flows out Installation: Check condition of hose clamps, replace if necessary. | |
15 | Detach ATF lines (23, 24) at the oil cooler integrated in the radiator and release from the fixtures at the coolant pipe (20) and pull through toward the engine | The automatic transmission oil lines (23, 24) remain at the engine. Seal automatic transmission oil lines (23, 24) with suitable plugs. | |
16 | Remove left radiator trim panel (2) and right radiator trim panel (1) | Attached by screws at bottom, inserted at top. | |
17 | Take radiator unit (12) out of the rubber grommets (3) in the body | ||
18 | Remove top radiator trim (14) | ||
19 | Detach charge air cooler (15) together with cooling coil of steering at radiator (17) | ||
20 | Remove bottom radiator trim (16) | ||
21 | Detach coolant hose (21) at radiator (17) | Installation: Check condition of hose clamp, replace if necessary | |
22 | Detach coolant pipe (20) together with coolant hoses at fan shroud (18) | ||
23 | Remove fan shroud (18) at radiator (17) | ||
24 | Install in the reverse order | ||

25 | Fill and bleed steering system | Turn steering several times to full left and full right lock (self-bleeding). | |

26 | Inspect cooling system for leaks | ||

27 | Check radiator unit (12) for leaks | Run engine until warm, switch off and inspect for leaks. |
