Align and install holder and support for exhaust gas turbocharger

 Warning

Risk of burn injuries, suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.

Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.

Position support (9) on the cylinder head (10).

Screw in new screws (7, 8)   .

Position air duct housing (11) on the holder (12) and position high-pressure exhaust gas turbocharger (1.2) on the flange of the exhaust manifold (14).

 Screw in screw (15) to do this.

 Aid of helper required.

Align old clamp (16) with the flange of the exhaust manifold (14) and with the flange of the high-pressure exhaust gas turbocharger (1.2) and tighten   .

 Aid of helper required.

Position holder (5) on the crankcase (6) and on the support (9).

Position new screws (1, 2, 3, 4).

 Install drift (17) as shown.

Align holder (5) with the high-pressure exhaust gas turbocharger (1.2) using the  drift (17).

Tighten screw (15)   .

Tighten screws (1, 2, 3)   .

 Remove drift (17).

Screw in old screw (18)   .

Tighten screw (4)   .

Loosen screw (18).

Open clamp (16).

Remove screw (15).

Lift high-pressure exhaust gas turbocharger (1.2) with the air duct housing (11) and remove toward the front.

 Aid of helper required.
