Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.

Check

Remove engine cover.



Slowly open cap (1) on the coolant expansion reservoir (2) of the auxiliary circuit and remove.

Check coolant level and correct.



Install tester cap (3) on coolant expansion reservoir (2).

Connect pressure pump (4) at tester cap (3).

Apply test pressure to coolant auxiliary circuit for 2 minutes.


Do not exceed the specified test pressure.
Otherwise, damage to the coolant auxiliary circuit will occur.

 There must not be any pressure loss within 2 min.

If there is a problem,



replace corresponding component part.

Relieve test pressure via valve on pressure pump (4).

Remove pressure pump (4) from tester cap (3).

Remove tester cap (3).

Check coolant level and correct.


