1 | Remove rail (2) | In order to detach and attach the rail pressure control valve (1) the rail (2) must always be removed. In installed condition, a correct assembly of the rail pressure control valve (1) is not guaranteed. | |
2 | Clamp rail (2) vertical into vise | Use protective jaws. | |
3 | Remove rail pressure control valve (1) | The rail pressure control valve (1) must always be replaced after removal. | |

4 | Lightly grease sealing ring of rail pressure control valve (1) with special grease before installing the rail pressure control valve (1) | ||
5 | Fit rail pressure control valve (1) onto rail (2) | Pay attention to the sealing ring before assembling. If the sealing ring is damaged when assembling, this could result in not very visible leakage. Observe alignment of rail pressure control valve (1). The electrical connection of the rail pressure control valve (1) must point in the same direction as the connection of the injection line (3) at the rail (2). | |
6 | Tighten rail pressure control valve (1) in stages | | |
