Remove/install

Remove fan unit.

Remove poly-V-belt.

Remove the bracket (3).

Install counterholder on belt pulley/vibration damper (1) and remove screws (2).

Topical note

Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process

 Installation: Replace screws (2).

 Reposition the counterholder in order to remove all screws (2).

 Bolt, belt pulley/vibration damper to crankshaft

Detach belt pulley/vibration damper (1) and remove.

 Installation: Pay attention to the pilot bushing.

Check end cover with radial shaft sealing ring (front) for leak tightness and damage.

If problems exist,



replace end cover with radial shaft sealing ring (front).

Install in the reverse order.
