Remove/install

Remove end cover.

Remove timing case cover.

Remove refrigerant compressor and secure against falling down.

 Do not drain the refrigerant, do not disconnect refrigerant lines.

Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) of engine oil level sensor (B40/6).

Remove coolant line (2).

Unclip retaining clips (3) and place leak oil line to one side.

Unscrew bolt (4).

Unscrew screws (5) of bracket (6) and remove bracket (6).

Remove bolts of oil pan (7) in reverse order to bolt plan and remove oil pan (7).

 Installation: Apply sealant.

Convert detachable parts.

If oil pan (7) will be replaced.

Clean

Clean sealing surface at oil pan (7).

If oil pan (7) will be reused.

Clean sealing surface on crankcase.

If crankcase will be reused.

Install in the reverse order.



 Warning

Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.

Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.
