Remove/install

Discharge air conditioning system.

Model 447 except code HX1 (R-1234yf refrigerant)

Remove front bumper.

Remove lock (1).

Rotate holder (2) through 90° and remove.

Unfasten radiator package (3) and unhook from holder (4).

Remove poly-V-belt from refrigerant compressor (9).

Remove holder from bumper.

Remove retaining clamp (5).

Remove retaining clamps (10).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (6) and unclip electrical wiring harness from refrigerant compressor (9).

Remove refrigerant lines (7) from refrigerant compressor (9).



Compressor oils (specification 362.1)

 Installation: Replace sealing rings and moisten with compressor oil.

Seal openings on refrigerant lines (7) and refrigerant compressor (9) using suitable stop plugs.

 Record plug

Remove bolts (8) and remove refrigerant compressor (9).

 Bolt, A/C compressor to major assembly carrier

Install in the reverse order.

Break-in refrigerant compressor (9) using vehicle diagnosis system.

When replacing the refrigerant compressor (9).


