Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Release screw clamp (2) and disconnect fuel hose.

 Seal connections.

Remove brackets (6).

 To do this, remove the screw/bolts (5). Note installation position of brackets(6).

Lower fuel tank (1).


Carefully lower fuel tank(1)
Otherwise damage will occur.

 Lower fuel tank (1) until electrical connector (8), bleed line (4) and fuel lines (7) are accessible.

Disconnect electrical connector (8).

Unclip bleed line (4) at fuel tank (1).

Remove bleed line (4) from fuel pump.

 Seal connections.

 Record plug

Remove fuel lines (7) from fuel pump.

 Seal connections. Collect exuded fuel with an absorbent rag.

 Record plug

Unclip fuel lines (7) at fuel tank (1).

Remove fuel tank(1).

Install in the reverse order.

 Warning

Risk of burn injuries, suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.

Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.
