Danger! | Risk of injuries due to contact with the retarder's hot surface or burns due to contact with hot oil over this surface. Risk of skin or eye injury caused by high-pressure spills of the retarder's oil. | Do not carry out any work unless the retarder is turned off. Use protective clothing and glasses when working on the retarder's hot surface. | |
1 | Turn off the retarder and the ignition | ||
2 | Remove the pressure sensor (1) | ||
3 | Remove the oil reservoir plug (2) | | |
Install: replace the bolts (3). | |||
4 | Remove the oil pipe (4) | Install: replace the rings (O-rings) (5) and cover with grease free of silicone and acid. | |
5 | Remove the intermediate plate (6) | ||
6 | Install in reverse order |
