Disconnect the battery

 Firstly, switch off the retarder.

Release reservoir pressure

Disconnect the electrical connection (1)

Detach the compressed air pipe connector (2)

Remove/install compressed air connector coupling

Remove the regulating valve (3)

 Installation: use new hex nuts (6).

Remove the damper plate (4)

 Installation: replace the hex screws (5) and rings (O-rings) (7).

Check the damper plate (4)

 In case of wear by aging or mechanical damage, replace it if needed.

Install in reverse order
