Remove/install

 Danger

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Unclip CN O2sensor downstream of CAT (G3/1x1) on bracket

 Unclip electrical line from brackets (1) on oil pan (2).

Detach bracket (3) for CN O2 sensor upstream of CAT (G32x1) from oil pan (2); to do this remove the screw/bolt (4)

 Bolt, bracket of O2sensor connector upstream of catalytic converter to oil pan

Detach plug from oil sensor (oil level, temperature and quality) (B40)

Detach oil lines (5, 6) of automatic transmission from oil pan (2); to do this, unscrew screw/bolts (7)

Unclip cover (8) from brackets and remove oil pan (2)

Detach oil lines (5, 6) of automatic transmission from automatic transmission; to do this, unscrew screw/bolts (9)

Detach oil pan (2) from cylinder crankcase by unscrewing screw/bolts (10, 11)

Clean sealing surfaces on oil pan (2) and cylinder crankcase

The sealing surfaces will be damaged otherwise.
