A new method has been developed for flushing the engine cooling system in the event of any coolant sludging from damage phase 2 onwards. Flushing is performed with the aid of a new special tool and is supported with XENTRY. A cleaner has also been approved. The preparation of the vehicle to be flushed and the connection of the coolant circuit flushing unit, are described in the latest work instructions. Only the new flushing method is permitted.
Flushing as per the TIPS document "Procedure for soiled cooling circuit" in function group 20.00 is only permissible for vehicles with engine 936.9.
