Drain coolant
Observe the legal provisions and local wastewater regulations when disposing of coolants.
1 Separate the electrical plug connection (arrow) of the coolant circulation pump (10).
Coolant circulation pumps will be damaged if operated without coolant.

2 Open shutoff valve of heating feed (1).
3 Open heating return flow shutoff valve (2).

4 Remove drain plug (20) at radiator and drain coolant.
5 Remove drain plug (15) of coolant connection at Voith retarder and drain coolant, if necessary slacken hose clamps and detach coolant hose.

Pouring in coolant
6 Clear drain openings which are blocked by deposits.
7 Screw in all the drain plugs.
Inspect seals of the drain plugs, replace if necessary.
8 Prepare coolant of the specified composition and pour in.
9 Fit together electrical plug connection of the coolant circulation pump.
