Open the engine access cover

Install the test connection (4) in the metering unit pressure inlet (3)

Retrofit test connection on compressed air inlet of metering device

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Start the engine

 Let the engine running until working pressure is built up in the compressed air reservoir.

Check the effective pressure with the engine running

 After engine shutdown, the dosing unit should be cleaned with compressed air to prevent contamination.

Disconnect the metering hose (2) in the pressure gauge (1), and in the test connection (4)

 The test connection (4) can be kept in the vehicle after the test.

Close the engine access cover
