	Remove and install
Danger!	Risk of personal and material damage when tilting and returning the engine hood.	Make sure that the tilting and tilt-back area is free of objects and people. Tilt hood and lock it with safety rod. Tilt back the hood cover to its correct service position lock-in.	AS88.40-B-0001-01A
1.1	Tilt the engine hood.	Trucks with semi forward cabin	AR88.40-B-1000A
Danger!	Risk of personal and material damage when tilting and returning the vehicle cab.	Make sure that the tilting and tilt-back area is free of objects and people. Tilt the cabin until the safety rod locks it in its final position. Tilt back the cabin to its correct service position lock-in.	AS60.80-B-0001-01A
1.2	Tilt the cab.	Trucks with semi-advanced cab.	AR60.80-B-0010A
1.3	Open engine compartment cover	Bus.
2	Clean the engine top part
3	Disconnect the hose (5) from the direct vent
4	Remove the bolts (3) with the plain washers	Installing: Tighten the bolts equally and alternately.

5	Remove the cover (1) and the gasket (6).	Installing: Apply a new gasket, making sure the contact surface is clean.
6	Install in reverse order
