16

Install ground line (2) in new plug housing (A 029 545 55 28) in contact cavity 2.

17.1

Install electric line (1) in new plug housing (A 029 545 55 28) into contact cavity 1.

Model 907.1## 2#, 910.1## 2# except code FF8 (1-DIN slot at front under headliner)

17.2

Install electric line in new plug housing (A 029 545 55 28) into contact cavity 1.

Model 907.1## 2#, 910.1## 2# with code FF8 (1-DIN slot at front under headliner)

To do so, use the previously removed electric line from the electrical connector X39/79.

18

Install existing antenna lines (4.1, 5.1) into dual Fakra plug (6) (A 022 545 12 26).

Make sure that the antenna lines (4.1, 5.1) are assigned correctly. To do so, observe the color coding of the plug housing (4.2, 5.2).

To do so, remove plug housings (4.2, 5.2) from antenna lines (4.1, 5.1).

Install antenna line (FM1) 4.1 into contact cavity 2, antenna line (FM2) 5.1 into contact cavity 1 of dual Fakra plug (6).

The exact antenna lines required depend on the selected two-way radio model. Cables for GNSS (blue plug) and GSM (Bordeaux plug) can be extended directly and need not be taken into account here.

19

Retrofit antenna changeover switch (3).

To do so, install antenna changeover switch (3) over front roof lining and fix in place. If necessary, use felt tape as protection against chafing and noise.

Installation location shown here as an example, on vehicles with code FF8 (1-DIN slot at front under headliner). On vehicles without code FF8 (1-DIN slot at front under headliner), the antenna changeover switch (3) must be fastened at a similar position in the area of the headliner and roof frame.

20

Connect electrical connector and antenna lines to antenna changeover switch (3).
