Perform initial quick test

The initial quick test is saved until the end of the diagnosis session as an initial quick test.

In the drive control (FR) control unit, change the parameter for "variable speed limiter" from 65 km/h to a speed limit that is higher than the parameter for legally-set speed

Particular attention should be paid to the fact that only tires with designation 275/90 R22.5 MITAS SRT2 (Generation "2") or SRT as of DOT 52/15 may have a "variable speed limiter" higher than 65 km/h.

To do so, select following menu items:
Drive control FR control unit 
Vehicle parameters 
Variable speed limiter

Conduct redocumentation of altered parameters

Delete fault memory in all control units

Perform final quick test; print out initial quick test and final quick test

There must be no fault codes in the control units being updated.

If fault codes are present in other control units

Process fault codes subject to separate repair order.

End and disconnect diagnostic system

Attach adhesive label (1) as shown onto door trim (2) on driver door

After reaching a tread difference of 5 mm, the tire is to be rotated through 180° and mounted or replaced.
At the latest, when wear on the second tread occurs the tire must be replaced.
Notify the driver of the vehicle of further indications of tire wear as given in the operator's manual.
