Recently, an increased number of defective electrical centers which have been irreparably damaged as a result of overloading caused by incorrect electrical connections have been sent in to the warranty claims department.
This overloading is caused by connecting electrical accessories to the wrong connecting points or as a result of double assignment of the connecting points.
Charred safety clamps, charred electrical connections and contactless connectors are indications of this fault.
Inspections of the defective electrical centers reveal irreparably damaged processors and electric circuits.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We would like to point out that damage caused by incorrectly installed detachable parts or modified parts are not covered by the warranty.
Additional consumers should only be connected to the specified pick-off points described in the diagnosis manual.
Existing fuses and internal vehicle circuits fitted at the factory should not be tapped or used as additional signal sources.
The existing pick-off points specified in the table are used for connecting electrical accessories.
All electrical accessories connected at a later time must be protected by means of dedicated fuses (by fuse blocks if necessary).
