10.4.15

In a warranty and goodwill case only Mercedes­Benz genuine-lubricants are accepted.

To this end, the articles WR04­02­040 Using genuine parts and WR04-03-140 Material expenditures and quantity indications in the warranty manuals must be observed.

Mercedes-Benz lubricants can be procured through the replacement part department. Each Market Performance Center (MPC) or general distributor (GV) shall provide corresponding lists which contain the available lubricants.

In a warranty and goodwill case the lubricant shall be submitted using the part number, taking the quantity used into consideration. If, in an individual instance, the procurement of Mercedes­Benz lubricants through Daimler AG national organizations is not possible, then external procurement of the lubricant in accordance with the Daimler AG specifications shall be rendered applicable as per the specifications from the article WR 04­03­140 Material expenditures and quantity indications.
