Oil cooler

The oil reservoir (7) is mounted at the right on the vehicle frame. The oil reservoir (7) and the oil cooler (8) together form the oil reservoir-cooler module (4).

Task

The hydraulic fluid required to operate the hydrostatic auxiliary drive is stored in the oil reservoir (7).

Oil filter

The oil reservoir (7) is connected to the expansion reservoir through the T6 connection to compensate for any fluctuations in the hydraulic fluid level. The cleaned and cooled hydraulic fluid is sucked in by the hydraulic pump on the oil reservoir (7) from connection S. The return flow of the hydraulic fluid from the valve block is routed over the connection T4. Leaking hydraulic fluid from the hydraulic motors flows through leak oil lines from connection T5 into the oil reservoir (7).

The oil filter (9) in the oil reservoir (7) filters the hydraulic fluid before it enters the oil reservoir (7). A wastegate (10) connected in parallel ensures that the hydraulic fluid still flows even if the oil filter (9) is clogged up. The wastegate (10) opens at an overpressure of 2.5 bar.

The oil reservoir (7) and the oil filter (9) together have a volume of approx. 11 l hydraulic fluid.
