2	Fold backrest of passenger bench seat toward rear
3	Remove all rear air vents	Model 447.7 with CODE HZ7 (Semi-automatically controlled air conditioning, TEMPMATIC in rear)

4	Remove all handles from roof		AR68.30-S-4330E
5.1	Remove curtain on left side window in rear from B-pillar	Model 447.7 except CODE T19 (Left sliding door) If the headliner (1) is not replaced.
5.2	Remove all curtains for side window in rear	If the headliner (1) is being replaced.

6	Remove paneling from left and right C-pillar	Model 447.7 with code V23 (Interior trim, superior version)

7	Remove paneling on left and right D-pillar		AR68.30-S-4495E
8	Remove rear trim on roof cutout for pop-up roof (2)		AR77.70-S-0021E
9	Detach headliner (1) in area of magnets (4) from roof until electrical connector on cargo area lamp (5) is accessible	 Carefully lower headliner (1). Otherwise the headliner (1) can be damaged.
		 Aid of 2 helpers required.
		 Installation: Position guide (6) on headliner (1) on roof. Ensure that headliner (1) is seated correctly in sealing frame of sliding door, liftgate and rear side window.
10	Disconnect electrical connector from PARKTRONIC system warning indicator (PTS) in rear (3)	Model 447.7 with code EZ7 (Active parking assist)
11	Disconnect electrical connector from cargo area lamp (5) and guide headliner (1) out of vehicle interior toward rear	 Carefully guide out headline (1). Otherwise the headliner (1) can be damaged.
		 Aid of 2 helpers required.
12	Remove PARKTRONIC system warning indicator (PTS) in rear (3)	Model 447.7 with code EZ7 (Active parking assist) If the headliner (1) is being replaced.

13	Remove cargo area lamp (5)	If the headliner (1) is being replaced.
14	Remove all support rods from curtains for side window in rear	If the headliner (1) is being replaced.

15	Prepare roof paneling (1) for installation	If the headliner (1) is being replaced.

		 Depending on the equipment variant or accessories, the new headliner (1) must be equipped with additional cutouts.
16	Install in the reverse order
	Check
17	Check electrical components in repair area for proper function
