Remove front dome lamp

Unplug connectors (3) from stationary heater timer (N34)

Vehicles with code (HZ6) hot water auxiliary heater with timer.

Remove sun visor with bearing

On left and right.

Remove dome lamp in passenger compartment

Remove rear dome lamp

Remove paneling on A-pillar

On left and right.

Remove/install side roof frame paneling

Remove/install paneling on D-pillar

Pull edge guard (2) off sliding roof

Push headliner (1) out of retaining clamps (4) towards the rear and remove roof paneling

Installation: Retaining clips (4) should engage in recess in roof bow (arrows).

Remove headliner (1) toward rear through tailgate

If the headliner is being replaced (1):

Change over stationary heater timer (N34).
