Danger!

Risk of injury in eyes caused by steering gear housing oil in high pressure.. Risk of poisoning by ingesting the steering oil

Loosen the limit screw up to 5 turns. Use protective glasses.

Remove the connection bars

Loose fastening screws (1), without fully unscrew them

Loosen the swing angle sensor (4)

Carefully clean around the snubber (3) and hydraulic line connection (2), in both sides

Remove the hydraulic line connection (2) and seal it with proper plugs in both sides

Collect the surplus hydraulic fluid in a proper container and dispose it in an eco-friendly basis.

Remove the snubbers (3)

Seal the hydraulic connections (5) and snubbers (3) with proper plugs to prevent fouling.

Loosen the screws (1) completely and remove the hydraulic cylinder (5)

Install

Fill with hydraulic fluid in hydraulic line connections (9.4) of cylinder

Seal the connections with proper plugs.

Place the cylinder in operating position and tighten the screws (1) with specified torque

Install snubbers (3) with a new sealing ring in the cylinder

Install the connections of the threaded joint and hydraulic lines (2)

Connect the swing angle sensor (4)

Bleed the hydraulic steering system

Check the alignment of hydraulic cylinder of actuation of auxiliary axle, if necessary correct

Mechanically align the hydraulic cylinder

After mechanical alignment, calibrate the hydraulic cylinder by means of Star Diagnosis.

Diagnostic Steered Axle (ZL), functional control by means of activations

Inspect hydraulic system components as for tightness

Install the connecting rod
