1 Hydraulic cylinder

Measure

Position the vehicle in front and in straight line

Before lining up the hydraulic cylinder, ensure that:

for vehicles O500 RS/RSD, with driven back axle, the front axle wheels are aligned; or,

for articulated O500 vehicles, with driven back axle, the cars are aligned.

Lift the driven back axle and put it over the rotating table

Rotating table.

Line up the hydraulic cylinder mechanically

Steer the driven back axle until the "X" measure is the same on both sides, that is, the hydraulic cylinder will be centered mechanically when symmetry is reached between the sides.

Identify vehicle through VIN

On DAS, perform quick test.

Access "Auxiliary steering ZL" control mechanism drive module

Select Continue "F3"

Safety instructions

Actuation with the vehicle parked and parking brake applied, gearbox in neutral, parameterized system, engine working and centered driven back axle are mandatory . Select Continue "F2".

Select "Control mechanism drive adaptation"

Driven back axle calibration

The measured power sensor current value from the directional axle must be within specification.

Verify the centering cylinder basic position

Use driven back axle centering switch on the panel .

Verify, adjust the centering cylinder basic position
