Remove/install differential lock

1 Rear axle housing

2 Differential lock

3 Security bolt

4 Differential lock switch

5 Jam nut

6 Pressure pin

7 Compressed air fitting

8 Sealing ring

	Removing
1	Remove rear axle.		AR35.10-D-0010D
2	Remove ring gear with differential		AR35.30-D-0464A
3	Unscrew compressed air fitting (7)
4	Remove lock screw (3)
5	Slacken lock nut (5)
6	Remove differential lock switch (4)
7	Remove differential lock (2) from axle housing (1)
	Install
8	Insert differential lock (2) in to axle housing (1)	 Align the bores for the compressed air connection and differential lock switch in the axle housing with the bores in the cylinder of the differential lock (2).
9	Pull sealing ring (8) on compressed air fitting (7)
10	Install compressed air fitting in axle housing (1)	 Coat thread of compressed air fitting with sealant.

		Omnifit FD 3041 sealant	*BR00.45-Z-1012-01A
11	Install crown wheel with differential	 To adjust the differential lock, do not install the axle housing cover.	AR35.30-D-0464A
12	Adjust differential lock		AR35.40-D-9255-02B
		Specification, distance between dog clutch and shift sleeve	*BE35.40-N-1002-02B
		 Locking bolt to differential lock	*BA35.40-N-1009-01E
13	Check/adjust differential lock switch (4)		AR35.40-D-9255-03A
		 Locknut, differential lock switch to differential lock	*BA35.40-N-1010-01E
		Multimeter
14	Install axle housing cover	 Replace gasket.
		 Bolt, cover to axle housing	*BA35.30-N-1007-02B
15	Install rear axle		AR35.10-D-0010D
16	Pour in rear axle oil		AP35.00-D-3501A
17	Check/correct oil level at rear axle		AP35.00-D-3501A
