Remove shift lever

Remove lower part of the shift lever (2)

Remove backup lamp switch (4)

Remove backup lamp switch actuation thrust piece (7)



Partially reduced backup lamp switch actuation unit

Remove screw plug (13)

Remove compression spring (12), guide sleeve (11) and shim (14)



Checking

Check all parts for wear



Install

Install lower part of the shift lever (2)

AR26.60-D-2001A

Adjust

Adjust shift gate play

 Screw plug, lower part of the shift lever

*BA26.60-N-1004-01A

Insert required shim (14), guide sleeve (11) and compression spring (12)

Screw in screw plug (13) and tighten

 Coat screw plug with sealant.
