Removing

1

Remove shift lever.

Remove protective cap (1).

Drive out cylindrical pin (3) using a drift punch (8 mm dia.).

Remove lower section of shift lever (2) using an impact extractor.

Installing

Insert lower section of shift lever (2).

Drive in straight pin (3) using a drift punch.

 There should be a clearance of approx. 2.5 mm on both sides.

7

Install protective cap (1).

 Replace if damaged.

8

Install shift lever.
