 	Remove/install
1	Open engine compartment flap at rear
 Danger!	Risk of injury to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning from swallowing coolant.	Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90 °C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage bottles. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and eye protection.	AS20.00-Z-0001-01A
2	Close shutoff valves of heating system and drain coolant	Location of shutoff valve, see operator's manual.
	Drain coolant, pour in		AP20.00-T-2080-01CB

3	Remove coolant thermostat		AR20.10-T-2460CB
4	Slacken bolts of belt pulley (1)		*BA20.10-N-1004-01K
5	Remove poly V-belt of coolant pump and generator		AR13.21-T-1201CB
6	Detach belt pulley (1)
7	Detach retarder water connection (arrow) at coolant pump (4)	 Installation: Install new gasket
			*BA20.10-N-1008-01K
8	Remove coolant inlet connection (2)	 If required, remove guide pulley (3).
		 Installation: Install new gasket

9	Detach coolant pump (4) from crankcase	The coolant pump (4) is attached with 8 bolts.
		 Installation: Clean sealing surface and replace gasket. Fix gasket in position with a little grease. Note different screw lengths.

10	Install in the reverse order
