| General information | Boost pressure regulator and turbocharger must not be separated from each other. Turbocharger and boost pressure regulator must be removed only as a unit. | |
Right turbocharger | |||
1 | Dismount right front wheel | ||
| Removing/installing wheels, rotate if necessary | ||
2 | Remove right front fender liner | ||
3 | Remove right charge air intake pipe | ||
4 | Remove bottom right charge air pipe | ||
5 | Unscrew nut (1) of bracket of oil feed line (110/3) at exhaust manifold | Installation: Replace self-locking nut (1). | |
Check stud and replace if necessary. | |||

6 | Unscrew screw (2) of oil feed line (110/3) at cylinder head and pull oil feed line (110/3) out of cylinder head | Installation: Replace sealing ring. | |

7 | Unscrew screws (3) of oil drain line (110/4) at turbocharger (110) and pull oil drain line (110/4) out of crankcase | Installing: Replace gasket (turbocharger side) and seal (engine side) of oil drain line (110/4). | |

8 | Loosen catalytic converter at right turbocharger (110) | ||
9 | Unscrew screw (4) of support (5) | | |
10 | Disconnect electrical connector (7) from right boost pressure regulator (Y100/1). | ||
11 | Unscrew screws (6) of turbocharger (110) at exhaust manifold | | |
12 | Remove turbocharger (110) and right boost pressure regulator (Y100/1) from engine | Installation: Replace seal. | |
13.1 | Remove the oil feed line (110/3) from the turbocharger (110) | Only when replacing the turbocharger (110) | |
Installation: Install new sealing rings. | |||

19 | Unscrew screw (2) of oil feed line (110/3) at cylinder head and pull oil feed line (110/3) out of cylinder head | Installation: Replace sealing ring. | |

21 | Unscrew screw (4) of support (5) | | |
22 | Unclip fuel lines from bracket on frame | ||
23 | Disconnect electrical connector (7) from left boost pressure regulator (Y100). | ||
24 | Unscrew screws (6) of turbocharger (110) at exhaust manifold | | |
25 | Remove turbocharger (110) with left boost pressure positioner (Y100) and oil drain line (110/4) from engine compartment | Installation: Renew the gasket and sealing rings. Insert oil drain line (110/4) in hole in crankcase. | |
26.1 | Remove the oil feed line (110/3) from the turbocharger (110) | Only when replacing the turbocharger (110) | |
Installation: Replace sealing ring. | |||

27.1 | Remove bolts (3) and oil drain line (110/4) from turbocharger (110) | Only when replacing the turbocharger (110) | |
Installation: Replace gasket. Mount oil drain line (110/4) on turbocharger (110) while only tightening bolts (3) finger-tight. Only mount turbocharger (110) with two bolts (6) on exhaust manifold while inserting the oil drain line (110/4) in the hole in the crankcase. Tighten accessible bolts (3) for oil drain line (110/4) so that the installation position of the oil drain line (110/4) is fixed. Remove bolts (6) and turbocharger (110) from the engine. Tighten both bolts (3). | |||

29 | Check engine oil level and correct if necessary. | ||
