Turning device
1 | Turn flywheel (1) with the turning device until the marking (arrow A) on flywheel (1) stands on the casting edge (arrow B) on timing case (2). |

2 | Check position of the positioning disk (3) on the fuel system high pressure pump drive gear (5). |
The marking "T" (arrow C) on the positioning disk (3) must be at the "12 o'clock position". |
If the marking "T" (arrow C) is not at the "12 o'clock position", the flywheel must again be turned through 360° (one engine revolution). |
3 | Disconnect electrical connection (7) on crankshaft position sensor (B600). |
4 | Remove screw/bolt (8) and take crankshaft position sensor (B600) out of the timing case (2). |
5 | Insert drift (9) in the bore for the crankshaft position sensor (B600) and lock flywheel (1). |
The pin of the drift (9) must sit in the groove (arrow D) in flywheel (1). |
